Free pair of Aedle Headphones given to Stereo Exchange Salesman

Norm Steinke, Rutherford Audio, awarding Ron Kain a pair of headphones

You would be hard pressed to find a music aficionado in New York who hasn’t heard of Stereo Exchange. Located right in Soho on Broadway, between Bleecker and Houston; this shop has been a primary dealer of high-end audio products since 1984. They’ve gained a national reputation for their attention to quality and sheer love of audio. The combination of passionate staff and the use of dedicated listening Lounges has given them a sharp edge over competitors. The environment is so immersive and captivating that customers drive for miles to experience their products.

Not long ago Stereo Exchange adopted our Aedle Valkyrie headphone line and has since become a champion for their cause. One passionate store attendant in particular, Ron Kain (seen on the right), quickly saw the sheer value and quality of these headphones and wanted a pair for himself.

“He asked us for a free pair,” says Norm Steinke, Rutherford Audio’s president of Sales USA (seen on the left), “so we said… Sure. Sell 20 pairs and we’ll give you one for free.” Well, it didn’t take long. Ron took up the challenge and within a couple months became the single highest grossing salesman in North America.

Last week Norm Steinke drove through the East coast to visit Rutherford Audio’s main dealers. When he stopped at Stereo Exchange he met up with Ron and presented the prize: a sleek pair of legacy edition VK-1 headphones.
